Lucky Herzberger has several decades of volleyball experience with 5 years of coaching experience. Throughout her career, Lucky has honed her approach to building a solid team culture and helping young athletes become a student of the game while they grow and develop on and off the court. She has coached young athletes ages 8 to 17 years old, girls and boys alike, and believes that success in volleyball is achieved through mastering the fundamentals and understanding the science behind the mechanics of volleyball as the required foundation before applying strategy to the game.   

Lucky was a standout athlete in volleyball, basketball, and track & field throughout her high school and college career. In volleyball, she served as captain of her high school, club, and college teams and she earned team MVP honors as well as First-Team All-District and Offensive Player of the Year.   

Outside of coaching, Lucky is a leader in the nonprofit software industry and spends most of her free time with her son, playing volleyball, or mastering her Pilates practice.
